Our summer event is taking you straight to the Caribbean in the late seventeenth century. There awaits Pirate Jane, who needs your help finding valuable treasure. Get yourself a ship, hire a crew, and set sail!

===How does the Summer Event work?===


The basics of the event are the same every year: There is a Wheel of Fortune which you share with your neighbours. On this Wheel, there are 9 prizes and each prize can be won up to 4 times (the number of remaining prizes is indicated by the green circle around the prize). There are all kinds of prizes: portraits, common items, new event buildings and even event buildings from the past! When all prizes are won (by you and/or you neighbours), the wheel refreshes itself and 9 new prizes will appear. You can also refresh the wheel yourself, in which case the wheel gets refreshed for your whole neighbourhood. On top of that: for each 77 total spins your neighbourhood makes, all of the players in your neighbourhood receive some medals. Each spin of the wheel costs you 1 ticket. Tickets are collected by completing quests.

The first year of Greva’s Summer Casino brought the Straw Hut, Beach Bar, Palm Tree and Sandcastle as new event buildings. There was also a special “Sundial” reward for completing all Summer Quests.
Open the Wheel of Fortune through the Event Overview:

At the Wheel of Fortune you can win different types of prizes, from common to rare. The green ones are the common ones which can be won multiple times, the uncommon ones (silver) and the rare ones (golden) can only be won twice or once. If no prize on the Wheel of Fortune suits your taste, then you can refresh the Wheel, which also costs you one Doubloon.

Besides the normal prize you can get, you will also get at least one part of a Treasure Map per draw, which will contribute to the Grand Prize. If you have collected all pieces of the Treasure Map the Grand Prize will be granted to you.<br><br>
Greva was back, this time with a Decorated Baobab, Oasis, Tiger’s Den and Witch Doctor.
In order to draw the Wheel of Fortune you will need Doubloons. Those can be obtained through Quests, which will also bring you additional prizes!

You will be able to complete 30 quests immediately, then you will receive one quest per day until the last day of the event. In 2015 Greva chose an oriental theme with the Bazaar, Caravansary, Ziggurat and Sphinx as special prizes.
In the Summer Event your Neighborhood is really important, because you all share the same Wheel of Fortune.<br>

In 2016 Greva visits your town with a more polynesian theme. Special prizes now are the Luau, Fishing Hut, Pole House and Tiki Totem.
During the event you can also win different Reward Selection Kits on the Wheel of Fortune. If you win one of those, you can use it in your inventory and select one of the displayed prizes.<br><br>

This year, it was run by two royal guests from an empire far away: Maharaja Tanak and his wife Pari. They wanted to establish a casino in their own empire, so this year they took over from Greva. Special prizes are 10 new buildings with set bonuses.

===The Ship===
[[The Ship]] is a special upgradeable building you can get during the Summer. Once you have it on level 1 (you will receive it in one of the first quests), you have a chance to upgrade it to Level 7! Pirates, treasure, and rum! This year, Forge of Empires is taking you to the Caribbean for the summer. Enjoy thrilling adventures and find valuable treasure!

Our summer event is taking you straight to the Caribbean in the late seventeenth century. There awaits Pirate Jane, who needs your help finding valuable treasure. Get yourself a ship, hire a crew, and set sail!

How does the Summer Event work?

The main goal of the Summer Event is to collect all pieces of the Treasure Map, while spinning the Wheel of Fortune.

Open the Wheel of Fortune through the Event Overview:

At the Wheel of Fortune you can win different types of prizes, from common to rare. The green ones are the common ones which can be won multiple times, the uncommon ones (silver) and the rare ones (golden) can only be won twice or once. If no prize on the Wheel of Fortune suits your taste, then you can refresh the Wheel, which also costs you one Doubloon.

The Ship
