How can I participate in the Carnival Event?

Welcome to this year's wondrous Carnival Event! Follow Casanova to the harbor of Venice and try your luck on any of the three different games in order to win Florins. Use these Florins to exchange them for amazing prizes and build up your own little Venice!

Take part in the games at the harbor by opening the event window once the Carnival Event has begun. Try your hand at games by spending your Tickets.

You decide which game you want to play. Each game costs only one ticket to play, but don't worry if you run out, the Carnival provides one free ticket every hour!

The tickets allow you to take part in variety of games that will allow you to win the special event currency - Florins. These special game tokens can then be exchanged for different chests to win amazing prizes!

You can choose to spend your ticket on a certain win, and you will always get some Florins in return. However, you can also take a risk and try your luck in one of the other games. Here, the chances to win are lower, but the potential gain is much greater and even other players from your Neighborhood can win the accumulated Florins. The choice is yours!

To avoid you loosing out on the accumulated Florins in one of the games, the Neighborhood will not change during the whole event.

League Ranking

This year's Carnival Even will also feature a League Table. For every Florin exchanged for a prize box, your rank in the League will progress. With higher ranking comes better rewards! At the end of the event, you will receive additional special rewards based on your ranking. It's definitely worth trying to aim for a higher rank to gain access to some awesome extra rewards!

The leagues are split by a percentage of all players on the world. The Amateur League will be the Top 50%, the Bronze League will be the Top 20%, Silver has the Top 5% and Gold is the Top 1% of all players on your world.

As other players progress in the League, it is possible that you fall in your rankings, especially when many players play the event at the same time. As such, make sure to check your standings regularily. At the end of the event, you will get a message summarizing your position in the ranking.

Every rank in the League offers you different rewards. The rewards will only be given at the end of the event.

Carnival Questline

There are 55 quests in total to complete! 33 Quests can be completed right away and 22 more quests are unlocked one quest per day for every day of the event. Each completed quest contributes to the counter at the bottom of the quest window, and you will unlock new prizes at 6, 20, 33, 44 & 55 quests!

Piazza Set

Carnival 2019 also brings a new upgradeable set with 5 completely new buildings! The different set buildings can be obtained through the different Carnival chests by spending Florins. Each set piece can be obtained as a chest special, which is changing every 6 hours - so make sure not to miss those!

The Piazza Set is a building set containing of 5 different buildings that can also be upgraded to a second level.

Upgrading the Piazza Set

In order to bring one of the Piazza Set Buildings to the next level, you will need the unique upgrade kit for each building. Alternatively, you can also use the Piazza Selection Kit to upgrade any of the set buildings.

The Piazza Selection Kit

If you use the Piazza Selection Kit, a window will open that allows you to either upgrade one of your existing Piazza Set Buildings to Level 2 or build a new Level 1 Piazza Set Building.

Choose "Build" and you can directly place the building in your city. Choose "Upgrade" and you can upgrade an existing level 1 building in your city.
